Ed Sheeran Announces Two Aus Shows But Good Luck Getting Tickets

After a year of laying low from social media and the music world, Ed Sheeran is back with a vengeance, today announcing two exclusive Australian shows in support of his upcoming record, ÷ (Divide).

You're gonna need all the luck in the world to get tickets, though, as both shows are having tickets raffled off by two of our biggest radio stations.

The Grammy-winning singer/songwriter will be playing the Hit Network's World Famous Rooftop on 5 February — so you have to listen in to 2DayFM to win these ones — and two days later Sheeran takes to the Sydney Opera House for Nova's Red Room, with the whole thing broadcast on the station from 9pm on 7 February.

Sheeran broke records with his two new singles, Castle On The Hill and Shape Of You, garnering 13 million Spotify streams in just 24 hours. If that's not hard to fathom, he also made ARIA chart history last week by becoming the first artist to debut at both the #1 and #2 spots simultaneously on the ARIA Singles chart.
