Gold Coast musician Amy Shark has been buzzing like crazy lately, clocking over two million streams on Spotify for her single Adore, taking part in Matt & Alex's 5 Raves In 5 Days and even performing live on triple j's Like A Version, all very early on in her career.

Now she's announced a management deal with UNIFIED, having garnered interest from a number of management companies.

Speaking exclusively to theMusic.com.au, Shark says she finds that the whole process has been "absolutely amazing".

"I kinda took a long time to decide on management because so many people were showing interest and I was obviously very new to the game and didn't wanna rush into anything, even though it was very tempting to.

"[Jaddan Comerford, UNIFIED CEO and founder] flew me to Melbourne and we saw the Illy show together and I met his whole team and went to his HQ and was blown away by everything that he's doing and we just clicked straight away. I feel very safe under his guidance," she admits.

After sending UNIFIED some demos, Shark says she was impressed with the company — and CEO Jaddan's — love for the music.

"When it comes to management there's a lot of percentage talks and there's a lot of basically trying to get you to sign on the dotted line, and they didn't really care about that at all. They kinda wanted to hang out and see if we all got along … I sent them a couple of demos and they were really into it and excited and so positive," Shark said.

Shark will be under the guidance of Comerford, Rachael Comerford and Nick Yates, with Comerford stating, "I could not be more proud to announce that UNIFIED is going to be working with Amy Shark."

"I had to Shazam Adore the first time I heard it and was hooked from that moment on. Amy is an amazing person and obviously an incredible artist. The future is very bright and we are lucky to be a part of such an amazing artist's career."

The signing with UNIFIED adds to a worldwide deal signed with Wonderlick Entertainment just last month.
