The celebrated stringsmith is setting off in support of his lauded new album
In-demand Aussie muso Harts is set to hit the ground running in 2017, following up his digital activities as a mentor to Australia's first virtual band with a sizeable run of shows around the country in February and March.
The newly announced tour, which is in support of his lauded new album Smoke Fire Hope Desire, kicks off in Melbourne on Friday 17 February, and will take the Power hit-maker to stages in Albury, Torquay, Warrnambool, Terrigal, Sydney, Wollongong, Perth and Brisbane, where he closes out the sojourn just less than a month later.
The impending tour will land in the wake of even more achievements for the perenially impressive Harts, who has just secured a deal with US-based label and music publishing company Razor & Tie. Internationally, the label counts under its purview such esteemed acts and artists as All That Remains, HIM, The Sword and more, with alumni including Brand New, Chiodos, Finch, Yellowcard, Saves The Day, The Summer Set, Kevin Devine, Norma Jean and several others.
Harts is keeping the hype train at full steam in the interim, too, unveiling not only his involvement with the super-intriguing virtual-band initiative but his brand new clip for fresh single Fear In Me, which follows earlier SFHD cuts Peculiar and Power in demonstrating the album's depth of aural deliciousness.

The clip itself — unsurprisingly — also proves a downright treat, utilising vintage video aesthetics (including the old 4:3 aspect ratio) to make it appear as though the video was shot several decades before Harts was even born. The end result is pretty special, and you can check it out for yourself below.
Smoke Fire Hope Desire is out now via Dew Process/Universal Music Australia.
Harts will be joined for all shows on his 2017 tour by special guest Yeo. Tickets will be available via Harts' website.
