Remember Evan Klar.

More Evan Klar More Evan Klar

Melbourne-based artist Evan Klar is currently working on an album after signing a massive deal with EMI Music, partnering with FANS Creative Management (Velociraptor, Jeremy Neale, John Steel Singers) and scoring representation by Select Music — all without playing an official show yet.

Klar performed his first-ever live sets (2 unofficial showcases) at this year's BIGSOUND and it's fair to say the up-and-coming songwriter made a lasting impression as he is now working with some of the biggest music companies in the country.

The musician now sits on a roster that boasts the likes of Rufus, Ball Park Music and San Cisco and will take to the stage later this month in Sydney and next month in Melbourne for his first official live shows.

The gigs, at Sydney's Brighton Up Bar on 30 November and Melbourne's Penny Black on 1 December, will be the first chance to hear any music from Klar.

Punters heading along to the gig may even get to hear some tracks from his upcoming album, which he is working on with acclaimed producer Ash Workman (Metronomy/Christine & The Queens).
