Amazing work from the Perth up-and-comers!

More The Money War More The Money War

Taking over Busselton, WA next month (rescheduled from earlier this year when the horrible bush fires affected the area), Southbound Festival have just announced the addition of their 2016 triple j Unearthed winners — indie rock duo The Money War.

The Perth natives will be joining an insane line-up including Hot Chip, Drapht, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Phantogram, MSTRKRFT and more.

The Money War have just dropped their second single Recall, with the band's Dylan explaining, "Recall is about being tired of repetition. When we went traveling in the US I remembered all of the things I love about Perth, I just needed a change to remind me. It kind of felt like another part of the soundtrack of the road trip, written during a writing burst where I wrote 5 songs in a day."

In addition to their triple j Unearthed win, the up-and-coming duo also picking up a nomination for Most Popular New Act at the WAM Awards.
