"I'm sure you can imagine our devastation"
Stalwart Melburnian outfit Dream On Dreamer have suffered a positively dire turn on their current European tour after their van was broken into, costing them "passports, electronics and loads of personal belongings" in the process.
The band broke the incredibly shitty news on social media last night (AEST), explaining that the incident had occurred ahead of a scheduled performance in Milan and essentially left them stranded and unable to complete their tour commitments, much less even think about getting home easily.
In their post, they explained the loss had proven "a huge hurdle for us to overcome" and lamented that they are unable to proceed further without assistance.
"I'm sure you can imagine our devastation having to let others down because of the actions of a few selfish people," the band wrote in their post. "Missing out on shows and being unable to cross borders for connecting flights home is the last thing that we would ever want to be facing, but unfortunately it is the position we are now in."

To aid their plight, Dream On Dreamer have set up a GoFundMe page, which at the time of writing had garnered just over $3100 in donations towards their $8000 goal, a target they'll likely smash before the day's out given the present enthusiasm with which the campaign has been greeted.
The band started their European tour in Warsaw in mid-October, and only had another six dates to go on their sizeable run of shows when they were hit by the thieves.
To contribute to their GoFundMe campaign, presuming it's still running when you see this, head this way.
