[UPDATE] Celebrated Aus Muso Fergus Miller Passes Away

UPDATE: Proceeds from Bored Nothing record sales via the Spunk store will be given to his family.

Tributes have begun to flow from the music industry following news that revered Melbourne singer Fergus Miller, aka Bored Nothing, passed away on Sunday following a battle with depression.

Brisbane indie rockers Major Leagues posted on Facebook this afternoon, “regretfully announcing” the passing of their close friend and prolific musician.

“He meant the world to his friends and family and although our hearts are breaking, his songs will be with us all as we fight to continue life without him,” Major Leagues said.

“Please remember to hold onto your loved ones, as there are times when life can really stop you in your tracks, but it’s the people around you who pull together to get each other through.

“If ever you are feeling down or feel like everything is getting on top of you, please remember that there is always somewhere to turn or help to be found.”

Miller is most well known for his contributions to Bored Nothing, a project that wrapped in 2014 after releasing two albums. He also worked with Pansy, Wedding Ring Bells and more.
