Beloved Sydney rockers Sticky Fingers have scored their very first ARIA #1 album with their third record, Westway (The Glitter & The Slums), this week, beating out indie behemoth Bon Iver and their third record, 22, A Million, for the crown.

The chart position marks the band's highest rank since their last album, Land Of Pleasure, peaked at #3 in 2014. Justin Vernon and co., on the other hand, have come in at #2 once more, matching 2011's Bon Iver, Bon Iver chart position.

Rounding out the top ten this week include Opeth's Sorceress coming in at #7 and indie pop act Banks with The Altar at #8, with Van Morrison's Keep Me Singing coming in at #11.

It's a big week for debuts — others include The Sunny Cowgirls' Here We Go at #13, Yellowcard with their final, self-titled album at #14, Regina Spektor's Remember Us To Life at #20, Solange's A Seat At The Table at #21, Pixies' Head Carrier at #23, Planetshakers' Overflow at #25, Craig David's Following My Intuition at #29, Melissa Helser and Jonathan David's Beautiful Surrender at #32, Amber Lawrence's Happy Ever After at #44, Epica's The Holographic Principle at #46, Danny Brown's Atrocity Exhibition at #48, Void Of Vision's Children Of Chrome at #54 and finally, Eric Clapton's Live In San Diego (With Special Guest JJ Cale) the week's last debut at #61.

Over on the Singles Chart, The Chainsmokers have broken the record for longest single at #1 in 2016 with Closer (feat. Halsey), which has now topped the chart for nine weeks. The week's highest debut at #5 is One Directioner Niall Horan gone solo with This Town, with Bliss N Eso feat. Thief swooping in as the week's highest local debut at #38 with Dopamine.
