Flume, Troye Sivan, Sia & More Score Multiple ARIA Nominations For 2016

We're exactly seven weeks out until the 2016 ARIA Awards and today the full list of nominees and categories have been announced, with big name acts and fan-favourites scoring nods, including Flume, The Avalanches, Sia, Violent Soho, Troye Sivan and more.
Leading the way this year is Sydney producer Flume who has picked up a whopping 11 nominations (including all three Artisan awards which he has already won) and Telstra Album Of The Year, closely followed by Sivan who has picked up seven noms including Best Male Artist and Song Of The Year.
Other artists to score multiple nominations include Illy, Sia and The Avalanches (six), King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Rufus, Violent Soho (five) and Bernard Fanning (four), as well as Delta Goodrem, Hilltop Hoods, L D R U, Montaigne and The Veronicas (three).
"2016 has been a record breaking year for Australian music with 16 Australian artists reaching the top of the ARIA Charts and the likes of Flume, Sia and Troye Sivan featuring strongly on charts and festival stages around the world," ARIA CEO Dan Rosen said.

The 2016 ARIA Awards will again give Aussie music lovers the chance to vote for Best International Act, Best Australian Live Act and Best Video, while for the first time, fans can make history by voting for the Apple Music Song Of The Year by playing their favourite song in Apple Music.
