British metalcore titans Bring Me The Horizon have made good on their promise to make up their recently cancelled Australian shows in early 2017, announcing rescheduled dates for Adelaide and Melbourne today.

The band will return to Australia in February to perform two gigs at Melbourne's Margaret Court Arena — on 5-6 February — and one at Adelaide's AEC Theatre (8 February) in order to tick off the originally planned performances at the venues, which began to fall apart ahead of Adelaide's event last week, when it was discovered that vocalist Oli Sykes was suffering from acute laryngitis.

Tickets for the new Melbourne shows will go on sale from 2pm tomorrow, Wednesday 28 September. Adelaide tickets will follow from 10am next Tuesday, 4 October. Existing ticket-holders will have first run at passes by way of pre-sale, being held now via Live Nation.

In Melbourne, patrons with existing tickets wishing to attend the new shows will receive tickets for the rescheduled performances during the week commencing 14 November; old tickets (with September 2016 dates) will not scan at the event; tickets for the show on 22 September will be valid for the new performance on 5 February; 23 September will be valid for 6 February.
