The Queensland outfit have taken up with a pair of LA-based managers as the band continue to make their mark on the US
Queensland expats Evol Walks have spent much of the past year traversing the west coast of the United States and their efforts abroad are finally paying off as the band announce a new worldwide signing deal with a pair of LA-based managers.
So impressed with the local outfit — fronted by Gold Coast native Leah Martin-Brown — were Rick Sales and Adam Mott of Rick Sales Entertainment that they've welcomed the band into their already-esteemed ranks, which include the likes of Slayer, Mastodon, Ghost, Gojira and We Came As Romans, to name a few of the hard-hitting well-known names under the company's purview.
The deal stands as a testament to the notion of hard work paying off, with Sales first coming across the Qld outfit at a performance at West Hollywood's infamous Viper Room last year before catching them again in April at the Musexpo Music Conference in Hollywood and ultimately making the decision to bring the band into the fold.
"Rick Sales Entertainment is very pleased to welcome Evol Walks to our roster," Sales said in a statement. "It's an absolute pleasure to be working with one of Australia's most exciting up-and-coming singers, Leah. She is a gifted artist, with a unique voice that totally captivates everyone in the audience. Evol Walks’ future looks very promising, and we cannot wait for it."

The new signing carries extra weight given the band's relatively short life-span to date — they only broke through in 2014 with debut single Heartbreakin' Woman and have spent most of their career together based in Los Angeles — and Martin-Brown and her co-conspirators are fittingly ebullient about the prospects for their future under Sales and Mott's management.
"It is a dream come true for us to be signed by a company with a reputation as incredible as Rick, Adam and the team at Rick Sales Entertainment," she said in a statement. "Never in our wildest dreams did we ever think we would be sharing a manager with heavyweights like Slayer, Gojira and Ghost, and we are very excited for the future and what this will mean for Evol Walks."
For the immediate future, it'll mean continuing to knuckle down in LA, working on their next EP release, due out in early 2017. For further information on the band's current and upcoming pursuits, check out their website.
