"I want to encourage more people to follow their dreams."

At the forefront of the Australian music scene and working closely with a number of different music creatives, heavy metal powerhouse UNIFIED has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative to help photographers, producers, graphic designers, journalists and more break into the industry.

During his BIGSOUND 2016 keynote speech, UNIFIED founder and CEO Jaddan Comerford unveiled The Unified Grant, comprising of five $5000 grants to help passionate young creatives who work in the music industry get a leg up, shining a spotlight on talent that haven’t yet come into focus.

“As someone who started a business with nothing, at a young age and on my own, I want to encourage more people to follow their dreams. For me early on this grant would have helped me do CD pressings, or fly to SXSW,” Comerford said.
Applications are now open, with applicants needing to fill out a questionnaire and detail why they’d be a good fit.
After applications close on Oct 31, five winners will be picked by a panel and announced on Nov 21.
