The fifth radio ratings are in.
The fifth round of radio ratings are in and while there are some unsurprising results (Kyle & Jackie O are the #1 FM breakfast show AGAIN), there have also been some notable increases and drops for some stations across the country.

While KIIS has again taken out the breakfast slot thanks to King Kyle, SmoothFM remains the city's #1 radio station with a weekday share of 9.7, up 0.9 points from the last outing.
Meanwhile, triple j have turned a disappointing fourth survey around in the latest ratings, with some nice increases across the board, most notably the breakfast slot, which jumped up 1.1 points to claim a share of 6.6.
The youth broadcaster's overall weekday share has jumped up 0.4 points to clinch a 6.5 rating, equaling Southern Cross Austereo rock station Triple M.
Triple J's Melbourne market had a very tough outing this time around however, with some big hits in every category.
While the morning and afternoon slots each dropped significantly (-2.0 and -2.1 respectively), the drive slot also fell by -1.0 and breakfast by -1.3. The figures resulted in the station holding a 5.0 overall weekday share, down 1.6 from the fourth survey.
Triple M's Hot Breakfast again took out the crown for the #1 FM breakfast show in the city, despite a drop of 1.1 points, to take out a share of 8.4.
Nova106.9 has dominated the market yet again with some healthy boosts in key markets (an increase of 1.3 in breakfast and 0.6 in drive), to take out an overall weekday share of 15.1, well ahead of rival FM station 97.3 who also enjoyed a bump to clinch a 12.1 share.
Triple J's Brisbane market made very little movement in the latest survey, with the very static figures resulting in a 0.1 increase for an overall weekday share of 8.3.
Triple J had a very tough run in the fourth survey and it hasn't gotten any easier in the latest radio ratings, with drops across the board.
While the breakfast slot fell by 0.8 points to hold a 4.6 share, the morning slot took an even harder hit, falling by 1.2 points, resulting in an overall weekday share of 5.0.
Though recent surveys have seen Mix102.3 and Nova91.9 neck-and-neck for top spot, Mix has stormed ahead in the fifth survey, taking in an overall weekday share of 14.7 (up 2.1 points), while Nova experienced decreases across the board, resulting in an overall weekday share of 9.8 (down 1.4 points).
Perth may very well have been the most difficult market for radio networks across the country, with very few stations experiencing any significant increases.
Mix94.5 is still the city's #1 FM station (15.2) despite dropping by 0.6 points, while Nova93.7 has also maintained the breakfast crown (13.8), even though it also fell by 0.6 points.
Triple J again had a mixed bag in the Perth market, enjoying minimal gains in breakfast (up 0.3 points) and the weekend slot (up 0.8 points), while the drive slot remained unchanged with a share of 10.7, resulting in a weekday share of 10.7 (down 0.1 points).
