The evolution of Holy Holy

More Holy Holy More Holy Holy

The songwriting duo of Oscar Dawson and Tim Carroll have another hit track up their sleeve in Darwinism; so much so that Holy Holy have decided to take the new song on the road on a big national tour.

Pulled from the band's upcoming sophomore offering, the duo have also released a video clip for the song, their director Plex Goldwin explaining the video was "the process of finding the right tonality and energy - complimenting and contrasting itself to the band and the energy of the song, with a rough yet stripped back aesthetic".

Carroll explains that Darwinism — about a relationship — came about on tour last year. "We built the song around that opening riff which I came up with while we were on tour last year.

"I remember the boys were all asleep in the apartment and I was looking for a place to play so I locked myself in the bathroom and was making some recordings on my phone. I felt straight away it could work as a full band track."

Holy Holy will set off on their tour on 3 November, taking in 14 shows around the country until 26 November. They'll have their friends in I Know Leopard and Alex L'Estrange in tow for the trip, too.
