With another day added to the party
When camping event Fairgrounds Festival’s quality 2016 line-up hits the Berry Showgrounds in December, the likes of Rodriguez, The Tallest Man On Earth and more just-announced artists will transform the small NSW town two hours south of Sydney into one of this summer's most engaging shindigs.
Quickly establishing itself as a formidable force on the Aussie festival calendar with a solid 2015 debut, this year’s carnival-esque event will feature an eclectic mix of artists, food, marketstalls, the return of Record Fair and more, adding an additional day to the festivities and introducing a mini-Fairgrounds Festival for kids.
Opening night will be held on Friday 2 Dec, with Searching For Sugar Man legend Rodriguez joining Aussie rock staples The Drones and the always-insane King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard to get the party started, as punters settle in for a massive Saturday.
On Saturday 3, in an Aussie first, Swedish folk maestro The Tallest Man on Earth will perform with a full-band, while Japandroids go the other way and destroy any expectations of what a two-piece can unleash.
