New Beachside Festival To Descend Upon Wollongong This November

What better way to welcome in the summer than with a cocktail in hand, the sea glinting off your sunglasses and the sweet sounds of live music? MTV Beats & Eats festival is heading to Wollongong for the first time this November and have announced the event's first few acts today.

Leading the announce is Kiwi platinum-certified rapper Savage playing his second year at the festival, along with Gold Coast producer Paces and New Zealand alt-pop singer MAALA. The trio are the first of many acts to be announced for the day, due to be held at Stuart Park (also where Yours & Owls Festival finds its home) on 26 November. 

Of course, with the beats there's also the eats to look forward to — the event will have a selection of food stalls and bars, along with shenanigans courtesy of MTV. 

Last year's inaugural festival was held at Sydney's Parramatta Park, with this year's location set to ring in summer with style.
