DJ Suave also toured some of the biggest Latino acts in the world
A 27-year-old man has been charged with the murder of WA musician and promoter Jaime Rodolpho Fernandez, known to many as DJ Suave, last month.
As ABC reports, the 41-year-old owner and founder of Suave Productions, Fernandez was murdered in his Tuart Hill apartment, and officers from the Major Crime Squad have today charged a Balga man for the incident.
Their investigation follows on from injuries that suggested the death was a homicide, after discovering Fernandez in his North Beach Drive unit on July 19.
It is believed he died on July 16, with neighbours contacting police after becoming concerned in the days that followed.

The Chile-born DJ moved to Australia almost two decades ago, establishing himself as a revered member of the scene and touring some of the biggest Latino acts around the country with his business partner, Don Juan Entertainment.
As Daily Telegraph reports, Fernandez had suffered financial problems in recent years, after a lengthy legal battle with Pitbull that started back in 2008.
The man charged with the murder of Fernandez is set to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court tomorrow.
