The acclaimed hip hop duo have lined up 11 shows around the country this October
Celebrated Australian hip hop duo Horrorshow are jumping back in the spotlight with the release of new single If You Know What I Mean as well as its accompanying video clip, both of which come ahead of an 11-date national tour in support of the new work this October.
The bouncy, laid-back new banger made its official debut on triple j last night, upping its impact today with the release of its gorgeously vivid video — a fitting love letter to the city of Sydney, which features heavily in the track's lyrics. The clip was directed by Entropico's Harry Hunter with production from Natalie Vrandich and photography direction by Zane Kamat, and utilises a stunning array of backdrops, colours and settings from around the city to help bring the song to life in typically authentic, assertive style.
Three years to the day after the release of their third album, King Amongst Many, it's understandable that the boys would be itching to get back on the road and bring their new music to the people; luckily, fans are spoiled for opportunities to be a part of the revelry in a couple of months, when Horrorshow kick off their If You Know What I Mean tour at Canberra's Transit Bar on Wednesday 12 October. The pair of performers also take on stages in Wollongong, Newcastle, Sydney, Hobart, Melbourne, Adelaide, Fremantle, Perth, Brisbane during the run, as well as the Sunshine Coast, where they round out the tour at Maroochydore's Sol Bar on Sunday 30 October.
Horrorshow will be joined on their upcoming tour by ascendant MC B Wise. For more information about the run, see theGuide.
