Off to a flying start.
With WA's Southbound festival set to go down this December, organisers have today named the first act on the bill as none other than ARIA-nominated electro outfit Hermitude.
Having spent the better part of this year in LA, the duo will head to the festival to headline the first night of the three-day event, taking place from 27-29 December, in what will be their first appearance in the state for some time.
Check out a video message from Hermitude below.
Meanwhile, a very limited amount of first release tickets will go on sale to the general public from 9am this Friday.

Organisers were forced to cancel Southbound earlier this year due to devastating bushfires and are ensuring punters who purchased tickets for the axed event will be given an exclusive 48-hour window to secure their spot this December from tomorrow.
After raising over $150,000 from the Southbound Fire Appeal show, held just days after the festival cancellation, more fundraising initiatives will be undertaken leading up to December.
