He's not 'Wasting Time'

More Bernard Fanning More Bernard Fanning

Following a politically-charged single last month, celebrated Aussie singer-songwriter Bernard Fanning has announced two full-length LPs on the horizon.

An ironic name considering the accompanying announcement, Wasting Time is the first single off Civil Dusk, due for release Aug 5 via Dew Process/UMA before by Brutal Dawn drops in early 2017.

Written in Spain, the piano-driven lead single conjures up a mixture of conflicting emotions and deals with the blindness of obsession.

Civic Dusk:

  1. Emerald Flame
  1. Wasting Time
  1. What A Man Wants
  1. Reckless
  1. Rush Of Blood
  1. Change Of Pace
  1. L.O.L.A.
  1. Unpicking a Puzzle
  1. Sooner or Later
  1. Belly Of The Beast

The Civil Dusk and Brutal Dawn series will be the third and fourth solo records from the Powderfinger legend and follow 2013’s chart-topping Departures.
