Melbourne indie rockers The Temper Trap has come in at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with their comeback record, Thick As Thieves

Their 2012 self-titled record did the same, making it their second consecutive #1 album in Australia.

The next highest debut is Garbage's Strange Little Birds coming in at #9, with the rest of the top 10 rounded out by the likes of mainstays Beyonce (Lemonade), Flume (Skin), Adele (25) and Keith Urban (Ripcord). 

Angus Stone's Dope Lemon has taken out #11 with Nick Jonas coming in at #13 with Last Year Was Complicated, letlive at #18 with If I'm The Devil..., Band Of Horses at #22 with Why Are You OK, Paul McCartney at #26 with Pure McCartney, Tom Odell at #29 with Wrong Crowd, Play School's anniversary record 50 Best Songs at #32 and Ngaiire at #41 with Blastoma

There's a huge drop after that with Icelandic rockers Kaleo at #66 with A/B, Jon Bellion's The Human Condition at #69, Nahko & Medicine For The People's Hoka at #72 and finally Van Morrison's ...It's Too Late To Stop Now… Volumes II, III, IV & DVD at #85. 

Over on the Singles Chart, our highest debut (local and otherwise) came in with pop sisters The Veronicas at #26 with In My Blood. The top 10 more or less stayed rock solid from last week with Drake, Calvin Harris and Justin Timberlake dominating the top echelons.
