Indie pop artist Dustin Tebbutt has detailed news of a national tour in support of his upcoming album, First Light, this morning, which will kick off in August to coincide with the album's release on 5 August.

The announcement comes packed to the brim with a whimsical sun-flared video for the title track, too, directed by Melburnian director Christopher Frey and shot in Victoria's idyllic Daylesford.

Bringing along Robbie Miller and Woodes on the upcoming tour, Tebbutt says, "This time around, I've got an awesome band behind me, and I've been working hard to translate these new tunes onto the stage really convincingly.

"Most of all, I want these shows to be fun! There will still be plenty of quiet, intimate moments but I've also been writing with a more energetic and lighthearted energy lately which I think should carry through the whole show."
