This one is pretty obvious. If you're going to make a music video for a song called Not My Friends, then recreating the intro to the hugely popular '90s series is a given. While we're sure they didn't film this in Central Park, props need to be given for the commitment here — the lounge, the lamp and the probable pneumonia the entire band copped after jumping around in that fountain at night.
Yup, the ol' piece-to-camera interviews at work. We can't be sure if it's an homage to the UK or US series, but we can say it's a lot more fun watching an entire band play uncomfortably in the background.
Though the clip is littered with popular US shows, it's nice to see Tired Lion pay tribute to our own homegrown music show. And hey, we have no problems at all with the guys being picked as guest programmers. Maybe we should get that happening.
URRRRGGHHHHH. Well, you get the idea. Let's face it, if you weren't a fan of the Tim Allen-fronted TV show, what were you REALLY doing with your time? People remember this show for many reasons, one of which being the interactions with I-don't-show-my-face-for-some-reason neighbour, Wilson.
You've gotta be a big Seinfeld fan and have a quick eye to catch this one. And if you did then you probably asking the same question as us: Can we please have that pez dispenser? And no, Elaine did not cause a ruckus at this performance.
