Hip hop artist fights for top spot.

More Drake More Drake

It reportedly sold more than 600,000 copies on iTunes in 24 hours and Drake's new LP Views is primed for another impressive feat, as it aims to take out the #1 spot on the ARIA Albums Chart this week from Beyonce with her critically acclaimed Lemonade.

The album is the Canadian hip hop star's fourth offering on the back of 2013's Nothing Was The Same which peaked at #2 in Australia, meaning the latest record would be his first-ever #1 in the country.

Drake has his work cut out for him however, as Beyonce's newest and surprise LP spoiled the Prince-dominated charts last week to snatch top spot, not to mention scoring a perfect five rating from us.
