Following Delonge's Facebook statement.
Fans were either optimisitic or left scathing following Blink-182 founder Tom Delonge's Facebook statement posted last week in which the guitarist addressed the band moving forward without him and while many questioned whether there was any truth to his claims that he has been in contact with his former band members, Blink drummer Travis Barker has confirmed that they are indeed on a "talking basis".
Speaking in an interview with 97X, Barker denied speculation that the band's new single Bored To Death was written about the group's falling out with Delonge and backed up the Angels & Airwaves frontman's comments that he and Barker speak "almost every day".
"I talk to Tom on a weekly basis right now. We're homies," Barker said.

"There's no bad blood. Me and him personally, we don’t hold grudges. We're definitely on a talking basis."
Barker's comments come in the wake of reports that band bassist Mark Hoppus denies ever meeting up with Delonge, who wrote in the same statement that the two had met last week.
Hoppus, who founded Blink-182 with Delonge in 1992, told Live105 that Delonge's online post "came as a surprise".
"I hadn’t even spoken to Tom in a year and a half," Hoppus said.
The 44-year-old frontman also touched on Delonge's suggestion that he, Hoppus and Barker have a future as a band together.
"That is something so far down the road to even be a possibility," Hoppus said of a reunion with Delonge.
"I'll never say never to anything, but this is what Blink-182 is right now, and we're in a really good spot and really excited about things and this is what the band is."
Following the release of the new single last week, the band, along with new recruit Matt Skiba, are set to release new album California on 1 July which coincides with a US tour to kick off next month.
