Metalcore act I Killed The Prom Queen have publicly called out promoter Keiran Pittar on Facebook today, earnestly looking for his whereabouts so they can "pursue legal action", alleging the promoter never paid them for a tour back in November 2014.

The band write, "This so called 'promoter' put on our Toowoomba show on the Rise Of Brotality tour back in November 2014, received the ticket money transfer from Oztix, never paid us and then disappeared. He owes us over $7000, part of which is owed also to The Ghost Inside, In Hearts Wake, Bury Tomorrow and Hellions. Before he ceased communication with us he said 'I can't pay you the money because I spent it all'."

The Adelaide hardcore act went on to allege that they were "not the first band [Pittar] has ripped off".

"It's crooked promoters like this which end up affecting the shows you go to and the bands you want to see play. Band's tour for a living and they only make money when fans pay for tickets and merchandise, and men like Keiran Pittar compromise that by stealing from bands and the fans."

The band finish the post with links to two articles — one, to the promoter's LinkedIn profile, and another to a news article outlining Pittar's history of assault.

The post's comments are littered with those in the hardcore world sharing their own stories of Pittar allegedly stealing money from them, working as either a booking agent, tour manager or as a driver for their tours.

One such story follows Daniel Lohrey, of the band Rivals and founder of van hire company Wolfpack Touring, who alleges he is owed "in excess of $1000" from Pittar.

"He assured us that he would be in Sydney by a specific time to swap vans. He didn't show and dropped off contact. I had to use what I was paid to make sure the tour ran as planned. Still no contact to this day," says Lohrey of the Antagonist A.D. tour he was on.

"The money that was set to be paid to me was used to cover the excess fees to continue with the hire van. So I myself made no money off the venture.

"He also failed to pay me after using my trailer for two east coast tours. Racked up multiple fines in my name with the trailer and then decided to leave the central NSW coast and was uncontactable when details were needed to transfer the fines.

"He's been known to snake people in the local scene. From booking agents and promoters to venues and bands. All of this was unbeknownst to me before I decided to work with him. He's originally from Toowoomba."

Lohrey says after Pittar started to get slammed by the Brisbane music scene, he "completely disappeared after that. Deleted all social media and left the state. He's recently popped up in Perth under new social aliases."
