Like proud parents
Always shining bright on the international music stage, a slew of our Australia's own have taken out of some of the top honours at this year's International Songwriting Competition.
With Vance Joy taking out the ultimate gong last year, this year soul songstress Meg Mac has taken home first place in the Adult Album Alternative category, while Birds Of Tokyo took out the top spot in the Rock category.
Joining them were Brissy-based Hailey Calvert taking first place in Blues and Flight Facilities taking home both Best Music Video and best EDM.
Tropical Zombie took home third place in Rock, too, while Dustin Tebbutt placed third in the Folk category.
