Plus the likes of Laura Dern, Matthew Lillard, Tim Roth, Ray Wise, David Koechner, Michael Cera, Ashley Judd, Amanda Seyfried and a bunch of other new and returning faces
The eagerly awaited 2017 revival of seminal David Lynch series Twin Peaks will feature several high-profile musicians among its cast, including Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor and guitarist Robin Finck, Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, singer-songwriters Sky Ferreira and Sharon Van Etten, and more.
As Pitchfork notes, the revival series' cast — released this morning (AEST) on social media - also features Reznor's wife and How To Destroy Angels bandmate Mariqueen Maandig Reznor, Ruth Radelet of Chromatics, and Annie Hart, Erika Forster and Heather D'Angelo of Au Revoir Simone.
That's before even touching the screen-seasoned component of the cast, which not only includes a raft of returning faces (including Kyle MacLachlan, Ray Wise, David Duchovny, Sherilyn Fenn and others) but several newcomers to the town of Twin Peaks, including Michael Cera, Matthew Lillard, Laura Dern, Tim Roth, David Koechner, Ashley Judd, Amanda Seyfried, Jim Belushi, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tom Sizemore, Naomi Watts, Monica Bellucci, Ernie Hudson and many more.
The Twin Peaks revival is set to air in the US on Showtime in 2017.
