The alt-rockers will play two headline shows following their announcement on the SITG line-up
English alt-rock quintet Nothing But Thieves will perform two headline shows as part of their impending Aussie sojourn for this July's Splendour In The Grass festival in North Byron.
The still-fledgling band will precede their appearance at the annual camping festival with a performance at Melbourne's Ding Dong Lounge on Wednesday 20 July, following it up the next night at Sydney's Oxford Art Factory.
Nothing But Thieves will hit Australian shores still buoyed by their self-titled debut album, which saw release back in October last year via Sony. They worked with some pretty impressive names, too, including mixing masters Cenzo Townshend (U2, Thirty Seconds To Mars) and Adam Noble (Placebo, Don Broco, Kids In Glass Houses), which should provide a solid indication of the already-significant clout this still-young band is swinging about.
With successful singles to their name including Trip Switch, Wake Up Call and Graveyard Whistling, Nothing But Thieves have established themselves both on the airwaves and on stages, earning a reputation for their rambunctious live shows that ought to see tickets fly out the door for these ones.
