UK-bred post-punk torchbearers Fat White Family are getting generous with their Splendour In The Grass headline sideshows, announcing three separate dates following their performance at the festival in a couple of months.

The rambunctious six-piece will take to Sydney's Oxford Art Factory on Saturday 23 July before backing up with a double header in Melbourne, where they'll first play Yah Yah's on Sunday 24 July, then the Cherry Bar on Monday 25 July.

For a band that only came together less than five years ago, Fat White Family have earned a world-acknowledged reputation for their high-energy live performances, making them one of several buzzworthy bands headed Down Under for the mid-year festival and accompanying shows.

Their work ethic is nothing to sneeze at either, having followed up their 2013 debut LP, Champagne Holocaust, with their excellent sophomore effort Songs For Our Mothers — from which recent single Whitest Boy On The Beach sprang forth — back in January this year.
