Making its debut in Sydney.

Having taken place in locations that include Tokyo, Stockholm and Vienna, the globally-acclaimed four day Red Bull Music Academy Weekender will be making its Australian debut in Sydney this September, which will present a massive program featuring live performances, public artist lectures, club nights and art exhibitions.

For the festival's Australian debut, internationally recognised acts and Academy alumni will populate the city and take part in the events, lectures, parties and exhibitions in some of Sydney's most iconic venues.

The news comes on the back of the recent announcement of the Red Bull Music Academy in New York that will boast names such as UK rapper Dizzee Rascal, Anohni and filmmaker Spike Lee.

The first announcement for the Sydney edition will take place on 16 April, while the full line-up is expected to be rolled out in June.
