Disturbed also bounce back to land just outside the top five
Danish pop-soul crew Lukas Graham have met midweek expectations by taking out the top spots on both the ARIA Albums Chart and Singles Chart with their second eponymous album and cut 7 Years, respectively.
Meanwhile, would-be challengers Disturbed — although still making significant headway, up seven spots — have to settle for #6 for their comeback record Immortalized. Impressively, hot on their heels are inexplicable (but kind of wonderful) sensations Babymetal, who make their Australian debut with Metal Resistance at #7, while The Last Shadow Puppets round out the new faces for the top 10, stepping out with Everything You've Come To Expect at #9. In Stereo (She's Rock N Roll, #11) and Pet Shop Boys (Super, #12) both make the top 20 on debut, while Weezer land just inside the top 30 with Weezer (White Album) at #28.
Last week's #1, Mind Of Mine by Zayn, was projected to be a top-two contender this week but settles for #3 after Adele's 25 refuses to relinquish its grip on #2, the extra spot sending the Molly soundtrack down a rung to #4 while Hilltop Hoods stay strong at #5 with Drinking From The Sun, Walking Under Stars Restrung. The top 10 is rounded out by Justin Bieber (Purpose, #8) and Ed Sheeran (X, #10, up from #19).
Looking deeper at the Singles ladder, there's no movement among the top three entries; along with Lukas Graham's track, Alan Walker's Faded (#2) and Fifth Harmony's Work From Home (ft. Ty Dolla $ign, #3) remain unshifted, though this week's #4, Disturbed's Sound Of Silence, has enjoyed a healthy rocket up the charts, up from #15 last week.

It's a fate mirrored by Gnash with I Hate U, I Love U, ft. Olivia O'Brien, which leaps from #26 to #5 this week, and to a lesser extent The Chainsmokers, who saunter up six spots to #7 with Don't Let Me Down ft. Daya. Mike Posner (I Took A Pill In Ibiza, #6), Sia (Cheap Thrills, #8), Meghan Trainor (No, #9) and the Hilltop Hoods (1955 ft. Montaigne & Tom Thum) complete the top 10; the week's highest debut single comes from Broods, just inside the top 40 with Free at #35.
