'Jump Around' Hitmaker Blasts Donald Trump For Using Track At Rallies

'FUCK DONALD TRUMP.'

More Everlast More Everlast

AerosmithREMAdele and Moby are just a few of the artists who have publicly demanded presidential candidate Donald Trump cease using their songs at his rallies and now Everlast of '90s hip hop group House Of Pain are the latest to join that list, as the rapper has blasted Trump for using their hit song Jump Around during his campaigns.

Everlast, real name Erik Schrody, who left the group in 1996 to pursue a solo career, posted a string of Facebook posts in the last 24 hours targeting Trump, with the first reading, "Donald Trump is a piece of human shit and will be getting a cease and desist for using Jump Around. FUCK DONALD TRUMP."

Shortly after, Schrody followed it up with an additional statement, saying, "Beside the fact that I find Donald Drumpf to be a race baiting, ignorant, divisive and potentially dangerous sociopath, using MY copy written work to represent any part of his campaign is akin to stealing.

"They knew damn well they needed to clear the song to use it. They didn't ask , why not? Maybe because they knew the answer already and went ahead anyway. That's copywrite infringement and theft."

Just hours ago however, Schrody apologised for some of the comments he made about Trump.

"Though I stand behind my opposition to Donald Trump, I will say I regret letting my anger get the best of me and resorting to name calling and threatening to smack him," his online post reads.

"In my anger and dislike for the man and his tactics I wound up sounding just like him and that I regret.

"As much as I think Mr. Drumpf is a lying, manipulating , sociopath that only uses racist and divisive tactics I don't wish his supporters any ill will."
