The band are in town too

More Modern Baseball More Modern Baseball

Philadelphia indie punkers Modern Baseball allow fans a glimpse into the inner workings of the band with Tripping In The Dark, a short documentary which opens up a captivating window into the timeline of the band as well as the making of their forthcoming third record, Holy Ghost

The feature is directed by Kyle Thrash, who has worked on everything from Audi to Levi's ads as well as having directed all of the band's film clips. Thrash allows the personalities of this group of friends who just happen to make music to be brought to the surface.

Holy Ghost follows a bunch of stories from the band's last couple of years on the road. Co-written by Jacob Ewald and Brendan Lukens, the album is literally split in two, coming together to form a complex illustration of the band's life thus far.

Three albums and an EP later, Modern Baseball are now gracing our shores with sold out shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne this week. Tickets are still available for a second show at The Corner Hotel in Melbourne on 10 April.
