A number of Australian musicians will be devoting their time to charity this May when they partake in the nation-wide Live Below The Line challenge, which will see them eat on $2 a day for five days, to help raise funds and awareness for those living in extreme poverty.

Artists involved in the campaign include Big Scary frontman Tom IansekWill Cumings (LANKS), DZ Deathrays and The Brow, as well as Frenzal Rhomb member Lindsay 'The Doctor' McDougall and Melbourne DJ, Morning Maxwell

"It’s important to remember that while we’re out there spending thousands of dollars on our acai-infused chia and cacao smoothies, there are people in the world who have to feed themselves on two dollars a day," McDougall said.

The Live Below The Line campaign, run by the Oaktree Foundation, raises funds for support education projects in Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste and Cambodia.
