International Acts Drop Out Of Groovin The Moo; Replacements Announced

Changes being made for next month's event.

We're just weeks out from the annual Groovin The Moo festival, but the 2016 event has been dealt a blow with news that two international acts have pulled out "due to various circumstances".

As ABC reports, New Orleans rockers Mutemath and Chicago rapper Vic Mensa have both cancelled their festival and sideshow appearances, but organisers have been quick to the punch, already announcing ARIA winner Jarryd James and electro act What So Not as the replacements. 

James and What So Not are scheduled to perform at all stops of the festival. 

In a statement posted to their Facebook just hours ago, Mutemath said, "Australia - Due to personal circumstances, we regrettably must cancel our upcoming trip to your beautiful country.

"We are so incredibly sorry to our fans that have bought tickets and made plans to see us. We promise to do our best to reschedule a trip down under as soon as we can."

The statement also advised that ticket holders can seek a refund through point of purchase.
