It's Corby's highest debut
With five EPs and nine years under his belt since his 2007 stint on Australian Idol, Matt Corby has picked up his very first #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with his debut record, Telluric.
Back in 2011 Corby's Into The Flame EP went six times platinum and peaked at #3, Telluric is Corby's first offering in three years and has already spawned singles such as Sooth Lady Wine and Knife Edge.
Telluric also debuted at #36 in this week's Top 100 Album Charts in the UK.
Following close behind, the late Jeff Buckley's You And I has come in at #2, while Killswitch Engage's Incarnate coming in at #5. Christian music outfit Bethel Music rounded out the top 10 debuts with Have It All (Live) in at #8.

Other debuts this week include Alessia Cara's Know-It-All at #16, Mallee-based country singer Sara Storer with Silos at #30, 3 Doors Down's Us And The Night at #34, Brian Fallon's Painkillers at #36, Flatbush Zombies' 3001: A Laced Odyssey at #39, Bluesfest's Melissa Etheridge with This Is M.E. at #48, Cam's Untamed at #61, Florida Georgia Line's Here's To The Good Times at #65, Ray Chen's Tchaikovsky And Mendelssohn: Violin Concertos at #66, Aurora's My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend at #73, Tim Hicks with his self-titled at #94 and the late Jon English rounding out the debuts with Black Label at #96.
Over on the ARIA Singles Chart, Lukas Graham held strong at #1 for a fifth week with 7 Years, while Australia's Eurovision entry Dami Im picked up the week's highest local debut with Sound Of Silence at #68.
