In what is massive news for the Perth trio, Methyl Ethel have today revealed that they are the latest signing to renowned indie label 4AD, which coincides with the announcement of an Australian headline tour this April.
The indie outfit join a roster that boasts a number of high profile acts, including The National, Grimes, Purity Ring, Deerhunter and many more.
Their debut album Oh Inhuman Spectacle is now available digitally worldwide, excluding Australia on 4AD, with CD and LP formats set to go on sale this May.
Methyl Ethel have confirmed they will stay on with Dot Dash/Remote Control Records in Australia.

Meanwhile, the group's national tour will kick off at Melbourne's Northcote Social Club (14 April), followed by shows at Adelaide's Jive (15 April), The Rosemount Hotel in Perth (22 April) and finally at Plan B Small Club in Sydney (30 April).
The band will be joined by Melbourne act Jaala on the tour (excluding Perth), as well as special guests yet to be announced.
