"It’s sad that she would turn a contract negotiation into something so horrendous and untrue."

More Kesha More Kesha

As the support for pop star Kesha's sexual and emotional abuse allegations against Dr Luke gains momentum, the renowned producer — Lukasz Gottwald — has remained quiet. Following the 237,000 strong (at present time) petition to boycott Sony's products, Gottwald has spoken out for the first time on his Twitter account.

The lengthy statement begins and ends with Gottwald reiterating he believes the case should be left to the court of law and not Twitter — "Until now I haven’t commented on the lawsuits, which should be resolved in court not here on Twitter."

Gottwald notions at the fact that people are working off "speculation". He says, "The only truly objective person who knows the facts is the judge. The judge did not rule in Kesha's favor on Friday.

"I understand why people without all the information are speaking out. I can appreciate their compassion.

"But lives can get ruined when there’s a rush to judgment before all the facts come out. Look what happened at UVA, Duke etc."

He says Kesha and her lawyers are "motivated by money" and has posted excerpts of the court transcript in which Kesha denied being roofied or having "an intimate relationship" with Gottwald.

He continues, "It’s sad that she would turn a contract negotiation into something so horrendous and untrue."
