Incredible news from a burgeoning indie artist

More Gordi More Gordi

In mammoth news from the Gordi camp, the Sydney-via-Canowindra based artist has signed to one of the world's highest regarded indie labels, Indiana's Jagjaguwar.

Home to Bon Iver (and Justin Vernon's Volcano Choir too), Unknown Mortal Orchestra, the band formerly known as Viet Cong and more, this is a huge step for the 22-year-old indie folk singer/songwriter who played BIGSOUND just months ago. She's also recently been picked up by the UK's Coda Agency and US's Billions, along with winning the APRA Josh Pyke Partnership Award.

Gordi has also just been added as support to Of Monsters And Men's upcoming April tour, as well as Highasakite's May tour.

To celebrate the signing, Gordi has released a cover of fellow Aussie killin' it overseas, Courtney Barnett's Avant Gardener
