The impending Gold Coast and Melbourne legs of this year's Supanova Pop Culture Expo just got a little more regal, with TV legend Dawn Wells — aka Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island — leading the charge of new additions to the line-up for this April's events.
The announcement of Wells — who, along with Tina Louise (Ginger), is one of the last two surviving cast members from the iconic sitcom — is complemented by the roster's addition of rising contemporary pop-culture heroes and The Originals co-stars Eka Darville (who also played the hapless, loveable human puppy, Malcolm, in Netflix's acclaimed Jessica Jones) and Daniel Sharman (also of Teen Wolf fame).
That's far from all from the folks at Supanova, however; with previous announcements including the likes of Game Of Thrones' Jack Gleeson, Doctor Who's Michelle Gomez, Smallville's Allison Mack, Stargate: SG-1's Christopher Judge and many more, it's only fitting that they've continued the tradition of bringing on-board a number of fan-favourite faces, some of whom have graced the expo's stages and signing areas before.
To that end, also joining the fantastical fray will be Manu Bennett (The Shannara Chronicles, The Hobbit), Ronnie Schell (Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C, Battle Of The Planets), Sean Maher (Firefly, Serenity, Batman Vs Robin) and John Leeson (Doctor Who — the voice of K9), as well as acclaimed authors Wanda Wiltshire (Betrothed series), Justin Woolley (The Territory series), Marlee Jane Ward (Welcome To Orphancorp) and, in a Melbourne exclusive, Alison Goodman (The Dark Days Club, EON, EONA).
