We challenge someone to follow them to all ten shows

More Hey Geronimo More Hey Geronimo

Brissy indie rockers Hey Geronimo are keen to show Sydneysiders how it's done this February, when they embark on the world's first Longest Shortest Tour ever, playing ten Sydney venues in one day.

Backed by Jack Daniel's Future Legends project, the five-piece will play their first show on 27 February at 10am at Secret Garden Festival in Camden.

They'll then embark on a ten-show journey, fueled by lots of Red Bull, water, and JD probably, to Petersham Bowls Club at 12.30pm, Newtown Hotel at 1.30pm, Chippendale Hotel at 2.30pm, Red Eye Records at 4pm, Bald Faced Stag at 5pm, Plan B (formerly Goodgod Small Club) at 6.20pm, Kings Cross Hotel at 8pm, Captain Cook Hotel at 9.15pm and finally Moonshine at 11.30pm.

The boys have their debut album on the horizon, so this will be ten shows where you can catch some new cuts from the album. What's more — every show is free.

The band's Pete Kilroy says of the Longest Shortest Tour, "This is an incredible opportunity for us to showcase the music from our forthcoming album to fans in every corner of Sydney. Ordinarily it would take bands months or even years to play in all of these venues, we’re going to blitz it in just one day…if all goes to plan! Jump on the bus with us, it’s going to be a fun journey."
