Hear new track 'Make It Real'

More Tigertown More Tigertown

Hot on the heels of the massive recent news that Tigertown have signed with Inertia Music, the ascendant Sydneysiders have revealed that they're setting off on a run of headline shows around the country throughout April.

Although the sojourn could easily just be a celebratory victory lap in honour of their fresh deal, the band actually have several acclaim-worthy balls up in the air at the moment, not least of all being the recent release of their sensational new EP Lonely Cities.

Tigertown will get their Aussie jaunt under way at home in Sydney, with a show at the Newtown Social Club on Friday 1 April before heading down Melbourne way to hit the Northcote Social Club the following evening, 2 April. A few days later, they're in Brisbane, on Thursday 7 April, to perform at The Foundry, scooting down to Byron Bay's Beach Hotel for a free gig on Friday 8 April. From there, it's off to Maroochydore (Solbar, Saturday 9 April) and Adelaide (Pirie & Co Social Club, Thursday 15 April) before they cross the country to wrap it all up at Jimmy's Den, in Perth, on Friday 16 April.

There's not too long to wait before Tigertown are on the road, but so excited are the band for you to hear the tunes from their new work that they've already released not just one — lead track Bullet From The Gun — or two (the title track was premiered on triple j recently), but three singles from the EP, with the overnight release of undeniably infectious jam Make It Real.
