Legion HQ say it's best for the festival.

Following a number of discussions with Legion head honcho John Sankey, industry partners, bands and the fan council, organisers have today announced that changes for the debut festival will be announced tomorrow.

Organisers are confident that the changes will benefit everyone in the short term, while also giving the festival the best chance to create sustainability and longevity in Australia.

"The reason that we've approached everything the way we have, from the crowd funding, to the commitment to transparency, is because we want to make sure we create the best possible festival that will be around for a really long time," Sankey said.

"We've come across a few hurdles in the last few weeks and want to make sure that we’re making the best decisions to ensure that we deliver on our promises."

Meanwhile, the Pozible campaign to help launch the festival has just seven days left to reach a target of $3,275,000 and the total amount is currently sitting at nearly $315,000.
