More Paramore More Paramore

Former Paramore guitarist Josh Farro has revealed that he is now on speaking terms with lead singer Hayley Williams after he and his brother left the band in messy circumstances in 2010, in which he claimed that the pop-punk outfit were a "manufactured product of a major label".

Speaking to NME, the 28-year-old musician said he is now on "good terms" with Paramore and that he has caught up with Williams recently.

"We don't hang out every day but definitely we'll see each other around and we're totally cool now," Farro said.

"We bump into each other and chat like old friends. It's a good feeling to know that you're on good terms with someone you had a bad breakup with, so all's well now.

Writing in an online blog shortly after departing the group, Farro claimed that band members were made to feel "less important" than Williams, however any hard feelings that may have lingered now seem to be a thing of the past.

"Maybe one day we'll be really good friends again and be able to hang out, but as of right now it's taking those next steps of 'Okay at first it was raw and nobody wanted to talk to each other' and now I feel we're at that stepping stone where we can be in each other's presence and it's good now and everybody feels great, but maybe that next step is hanging out. Who knows? Maybe it's in the near future."

As for re-joining Paramore, Farro emphasised that he is currently focused on releasing new solo music, but that he has thought about the idea.

"The thought [rejoining] has crossed my mind before, but I don't think so," he said.

"It would be interesting to ever be asked to rejoin the band but I don't think it would ever happen."

It comes just a few weeks after founding member Jeremy Davis announced that he was leaving the band.
