The Victorian duo will play a run of shows in support of new work 'Parley' from February through April
Melbourne duo Josef and Jan Prasil, who together comprise roots act Amistat, will be touring Australia in February through April in support of their debut album Parley, it has been announced.
The twin brothers, originally from Germany but residing in Australia since 2013, have become stalwart figures in the Melbourne busking community as well as having a healthy following on triple j Unearthed.
Their tight harmonies and lyrics, drawn from life on the road, have won them a number of fans Australia-wide and their debut album is likely to be one of the ones to wrap your ears around in 2016.
Parley will be released on Friday 4 March through MGM Distribution, hot on the heels of Amistat beginning their national tour in Brisbane, on Friday 26 February, at Black Bear Lodge.

The next week, on Friday 4 March, they hit up Sydney's Brighton Up Bar; a week after that, on Friday 11 March, Amistat play the Northcote Social Club in Melbourne. On Saturday 19 March, the duo are gigging in Adelaide's Grace Emily, finishing up their tour with two dates in WA: They'll be playing at Perth's Four5nine on April Fool's Day (Friday 1 April), and finishing the tour the next day (Saturday 2 April) at Fremantle's Odd Fellow.
