“I am so proud to continue a long standing relationship with Anthrax. The album is their crowning glory."

Thrash metal legends Anthrax have secured a deal with record label Nuclear Blast in Australia and New Zealand, allowing the band to release their upcoming album For All Kings in the oceanic region in various formats via the label.

It is only fitting for Anthrax to sign a deal of this kind - Nuclear Blast also works closely with other metal heavyweights such as Slayer, Machine Head, Lamb Of God and Fear Factory. With the album due to drop late next month, the news follows the earlier announcement of the band signing on with the label in Europe.

Speaking out about the album, long standing band member/rhythm guitarist Ian Scott is overjoyed with how the album turned out and is excited to see how their devoted fans will respond:

For All Kings is the MOST METAL Anthrax album ever. Fitting for all our most metal friends in Australia and New Zealand. I can't wait for you all to hear this and headbang your brains out. See you all soon! #earboners."

Nuclear Blast Australia & New Zealand’s John Howarth was equally enthused about the deal. “I am so proud to continue a long standing relationship with Anthrax. The album is their crowning glory. It is a true masterpiece. This album will add another decade to their career and will open the doors to a whole new fanbase.”

For All Kings will be the band's eleventh studio album in a history that has spanned over four decades. The band have released two singles from the record - Evil Twin and Breathing Lightning - check them out below.
