Is This Confirmation That The Classic Guns N' Roses Members Are Reuniting For Coachella?

Still no official word, but this will do.

With the announcement that Guns N' Roses will be headlining this year's Coachella festival, there still has been no official confirmation that the classic members including Slash and Duff McKagan will feature in the line-up, however they have left some very telling hints that it will indeed be a reunion tour on their social media accounts today.

Shortly after the Coachella 2016 bill was released, both Slash and McKagan uploaded a picture of the classic Gunners logo with the festival tag featured below on their respective accounts.

Furthermore, the profile pictures of McKagan's Facebook as well as the official Guns N' Roses Facebook and Twitter accounts were changed to the same image.

It was expected that frontman Axl Rose was to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tomorrow to confirm the official reunion, however Blabbermouth are reporting that his guest spot on the show will not go ahead.

According to a GNR forum, Rose was listed as the first guest to appear on the show, but it has since been removed without explanation.

"[There was] no reason given [for the change of plans]," a moderator of the forum wrote.

"I sent out an email to someone connected with the band the answer I got back is that Axl will not be appearing in tomorrow night's show. Hopefully we'll hear more in the coming days, so I wouldn't get too discouraged. It's just not going to be on 'Kimmel' tomorrow night. That's all I know."

Former Gunners drummer Matt Sorum, who is also speculated to be involved at the Coachella shows, will be appearing on another US talk show, Late Night With Seth Myers this week.

Speculation of a reunion tour was sparked last year when it was reported that Rose and Slash were finally on speaking terms after a near 20-year feud.

If the two are to team up again for the Coachella shows it will the first time that they perform together since  17 July, 1993 at River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires.
