"I'm done."
Announcing on Twitter yesterday that he would be permanently out of the Soundwave game after next month's festival, AJ Maddah also told a fan last night that Soundwave Touring would also cease to exist.
He said, "No. I'm done. Let some new people go for it." when asked if his touring company, having recently brought out punk/hardcore bands like Circa Survive, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Less Than Jake this year, would continue to operate after Soundwave Festival's end.
@IanBiggus No. I'm done. Let some new people go for it.

He told another fan he'd look to get a "9 to 5 gig" after Soundwave 2016 is done.

@the_zing not sure tbh. Hopefully a 9 to 5 gig where I can switch off after. It's been 20 yrs of stress and 110 hour work weeks.

The last act brought out by Soundwave Touring was Devin Townsend Project and Periphery in October. In past years, the company had organised tours by countless international acts such as Avenged Sevenfold, Funeral For A Friend, HIM, Megadeth, Incubus, Sum-41 and more, often as part of Soundwave Festival's coinciding Sidewaves.
Yesterday, Maddah announced via Twitter that Soundwave 2016 would be the festival's last; meanwhile Soundwave General Manager Chris O'Brien announced the launch of his brand new management company.
Meanwhile, joining Bring Me The Horizon and Frenzal Rhomb in expressing their concerns over Soundwave 2016, NOFX's manager have posted this on Twitter in response to someone asking whether they were getting paid for Soundwave 2016.
