Brassy-voiced country starlet Ruby Boots (i.e. Bex Chilcott) has announced some colossal plans for her 2016 today, including tour dates in three countries.

The 'I Miss You Already' tour — named as such presumably because she'll miss her homeland when she's gallivanting around the States — covers nearly every state in Australia when she kicks it into gear on 30 January in Melbourne.

She'll play a few shows with The Waifs in Melbourne, Tamworth, Bathurst and Sydney, before heading to the Riverboats Festival and the Port Fairy Folk Festival. In between, Chilcott will hit up Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane and finally Perth, the latter with none other than Taj Mahal.

The songstress will jetset to Borneo's Miri Country Music Festival briefly in February, followed by fifteen stops in North America from late April to mid-May, covering everything from Nashville and New York to Salt Lake City and Berkeley.

Chilcott recently picked up $15,000 as part of her APRA Personal Development Award win in the Country category, as well as the crown for Best Country Act at the 2015 WAM Awards.
